Hey everyone! Since this weeks blog was about Youtube and what my favorite Youtuber is, I will be talking about what another one of my favorite Youtuber is and that is Casey Neistat. I think he is a very successful person and just started at a disadvantage. At a young age he was bullied and not so smart but he never gave up. He got really interested into film making and started making movies and other things. He now has a big Youtube channel and even has his own app. I think he makes awesome movies and now he does vlogs and I think that is awesome. Overall, I think that Casey Neistat is a very successful and a good filmmaker and you should definitely watch him of you haven't. Well, thank you for reading and have a good one!

Hey everyone! Today I will be talking about what my favorite YouTuber is and why. Youtube is a website where anyone in the world can upload videos, and you can even get paid for it. My most favorite YouTuber is Nigahiga. Three reasons why he is my favorite is because he was first not smart and an unlucky kid, then he became successful, secondly he makes good and funny videos, and lastly he does good videos and he doesn't really care how long they take, as long as they are as good as they can be.
The first reason why Nigahiga is my favorite YouTuber is because as a kid, he wasn't that lucky or smart. He was always teased and bullied and he wasn't smart. Then he started doing videos with his friend at home with a really old video camera. Then as he got old he kept making more videos and they got better every time. Over a long time, YouTube finally came and he started to upload his videos to YouTube and every video he made, lots of people liked it. Then he just kept making videos until he became super famous and really successful. I just think that what he did was really motivational.
The next reason why my favorite YouTuber is Nigahiga is because he makes really good and super funny videos. He always has good camera angles and he always has clear shots. He also has very funny videos. His videos are also never boring and whenever he uploads a video, I can't wait to watch it.
The last and final reason why I like him is because he take quality over quantity. Instead of making a bunch of bad videos everyday or something (Even though I like Casey Neistat's vlogs) he makes good videos every one to two weeks. I think that it is very awesome that he does that because every video he does is good and whenever you have to wait to watch it, it makes you want to watch it even more.
Overall, My favorite YouTuber is Nigahiga because he was first not smart and an unlucky kid, then he became successful, secondly he makes good and funny videos, and lastly he does good videos and he doesn't really care how long they take, as long as they are as good as they can be. Well, thats it for this blog post, thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! Today for my second blog I am going to write about this movie I saw a couple of week ago called "The Revenant". This movie is placed in the 1820's and is about this guy who gets attacked by a bear and seriously injured, then gets left behind by his friends and has to survive on his own. I thought this movie was really awesome through because of it's way of filming. The camera was always super close and followed the actor. The camera even got so close that the actor fogged up the camera twice and it even got blood on it. Overall, I thought this movie had a super good story, and cinematography. Well, thank you for reading and have an awesome day!
Hey everyone! Today I am going to talk about my third STN practice we had last weekend. What worked and what didn't, and what we needed to improve on. What didn't work was getting the interview sound to be good, what worked was that we got good b-roll sound. The first thing we need to improve on is getting better and more shots, and the second thing we need to improve on is getting better sequences.
The thing that didn't work out for use at the STN practice was getting good audio for our interviews. When we got our interviews, when thought the sound was good because it sounded good through the Tascam. Then when we got back, we imported everything, and looked at the interviews and the sound was super low. So we tried to raise it but we couldn't so we just had low audio for the interviews. The good thing was that we got really good b-roll sounds. The mic we use gets really good b-roll sound so that was good.
One thing we need to improve on though is getting better and more b-roll shots. Even through when I always think we got a lot of b-roll shots, we didn't. When we start editing, we always find that we don't have enough shots. It sucks when don't have enough shots because then you have to cut some shots out and your video won't be as good.
Another thing that we need to improve on for our STN practices is to get better sequences. We never get good sequences because I think we forget to get it. When ever we sequences though, it's really nice and it really makes your video look nice.
Overall, for our 3rd STN practice, what didn't work was getting the interview sound to be good, what worked was that we got good b-roll sound. The first thing we need to improve on is getting better and more shots, and the second thing we need to improve on is getting better sequences. Well, thank you for reading and have great day!
For the Crazy 8's, I want to be on the Broadcast team.
Hey everyone! Today I will be talking about this movie trailer I watched called "Independence Day: Resurgence". I saw the first one and I thought it was really good so I am excited to see the next one. I think that it has great special effects and a good acting, but I don't think it will be as good as the last one. I don't feel that the story will be as good and as cool. Sequels of movies aren't always the best anyways. Well I think you should definitely watch it of you haven't. Thank you for reading and have a good one!
Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great winter break and welcome back to school! For this blog post, I will be talking about if I accomplished my goals from last quarter and what my new goals are for this quarter. My new goals for this quarter are to not procrastinate of course, to do good on my PSA, and to do better at the STN practices.
The first thing I am going to talk about is if I accomplished the goals I made last quarter. The first goal I made was not procrastinate. I don't feel like I really accomplished this goal because I was really late with my script and then I turned in my project right before it was due. I always set this as my goal but I never accomplished it and I don't know why. The next goal I made was to become a better partner. I feel like I accomplished this goal because I was nicer to Destrey and did teach him a lot more. The last goal I made was to do better with my Inside Scoops. I did accomplished this goal because last time we procrastinated a lot and this past time we did a lot better and we did get a better grade. Overall I do feel like I accomplished some goals last quarter which was good.
Now the first goal that I have for this quarter is to not procrastinate. I know I put this in every quarter but it is because I never accomplish it. I really like getting things early but then I don't do it because I get lazy. For this quarter I am going to really try to accomplish this goal I really want to accomplish it.
The second goal I have for this quarter is that I do good on my 3rd quarter PSA. Dalson and I did kind of a harder PSA so I can guarantee that it will be harder to get a good grade on. I will really try to work really hard and do my best I can on it. I will also make sure I don't procrastinate because I know if I do it and keep doing it, I won't do so good in things.
The last goal I have for 3rd quarter is to do good on the STN practices because I know we will have few this quarter. I want to do better at the STN practices because with the Nat Sounds it is hard and if we are not good at the practices we probably won't do good at the STN. I also want to do good at Crazy 8's because that might be hard too.
Overall, I did accomplish a few goals I made last quarter which were to not procrastinate, be a better partner, and get better at our Inside Scoops. The goals I made for this quarter are to not procrastinate of course, to do good on my PSA, and to do better at the STN practices. Well, thank you for reading have a great day and welcome back to school!
