Hey everyone! Today I am going to talk about this YouTuber I saw a while ago called "Vsause". I think that this guy is just so awesome because you can learn so much from him and he also puts in great pictures and drawings to represent what he is talking about so that's even better. He doesn't upload that often but when he does, his videos and a blast to watch. Overall, I think you should definitely watch him if you haven't because he is just awesome. Well, thank you for reading and have a good one!
Hey everyone! Today I am going to write about what is my passion. Some people may had different passion's like cooking, writing, drawing, or even building, but I my passion is football. I will tell you why football is my passion, how did I get involved with football to like it so much, and finally, what am I doing now to keep that going.
The first thing I will be talking about is why football is my passion. I've played football for about 7 years and I have gotten to like it so much. I was on the line for most of my years playing football but this year I am receiver and I still love it even with the change. I also have all of my friends playing with me so it's extra fun when you can play around with them a lot. I also really love football because it's a very fun way to stay fit. In football, you constantly and run so you build up your stamina and you can lose weight if you want too. You also lift weights and pull sleds so you also build up strength and plus, you get to do it with friends so it never gets boring.
The next thing I am going to talk about is how did I get involved with football to like it so much. All those 7 years ago, I was 6 years old and my dad said that I should try Pop Warner. It's a youth football association where you can play tackle football at a young age. At first I didn't want to but I did anyway and it was so fun. I can just remember all the games and practices that we had and it was just so fun. You got to go with all of your friends and it was so memorable so I wanted to do it again and again.
The last thing I am going to talk about is what am I doing to keep my passion, football, going. Right now I am playing the spring season of football and I just finished the fall season of football so I think that I am doing pretty good at keeping it going. I also just changed my position from lineman to receiver so that has been an awesome experience and I am still receiver right now.
Overall, I football is definitely my passion because I have done it for so long and I still love it. I talked about why football is my passion, how did I get involved with football to like it so much, and finally, what am I doing now to keep that going. Well, that's it for this blog post, thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! Today I watched this video called "Life Explained in 27 Seconds". I thought that this video was very short, but very clever. It's by Casey Neistat and its an easy little video about how life is and that you have to work hard to be good, and if you don't work hard you fall way behind. Overall, I thought that this short video was very clever and super cool. Well, thank you for reading and have a good one!
Hey everyone! Today I will be talking about how I did at the Crazy 8's practice on Monday. I will talk about is what our overall impression on how our team did, next is what are some problems that we had, then what are some positive things that our team did, and lastly, what are we going to do to try to improve for STN. I thing our overall impression of our team was good, but not so good. Some problems that we had was that was we always got distracted and didn't finished when when we were supposed too, and we didn't get enough B-roll. Some positive things that our team had was that we had a good story and worked really well when filming . Finally, how we are going to improve on that is B-roll and doing better and not getting distracted while in the editing room.
The first thing I am going to talk about is what is the overall impression on how our team did at the Crazy 8's STN practice. I thought we did half half because we didn't really work together like we were supposed too while editing. We disagreed at a lot of our idea's and didn't really work hard enough. On the other hand, we did work good when we were filming and doing other stuff like the voice overs.
The next thing I am going to talk about is what are some problems our team had during the Crazy 8's STN practice. Some bad things we had are that we didn't finish when we were supposed too, and we didn't get enough B-roll. I think we didn't finish on time because we were just talking to other people too much and got so distracted. We also didn't get enough B-roll because when we edited, we ran out so fast and we wanted to put in more interview but we couldn't. We even made our B-roll shots really long because we ran out so fast.
The next thing I am going to talk about is some positive things that we had during our Crazy 8's STN practice. Some positive things we had were that we got a good story, and we worked well while filming. I thought we had a good story because we had this guy who travels all around the world teaching aloha through coconuts. So I thought that story was awesome but we also worked well while filming. We stuck to what we do every practice, which is I do the interviews, Brent does B-roll, and either Aron or Erik does sound. I thought that was good and we didn't fight a lot and agreed to each others ideas.
The last and final thing I am going to talk about is how we are going to improve for our Crazy 8's in the real competition. When we get to the competition we will definitely will work way harder and be way more serious, will will also get more B-roll. How we are going to improve for the competition is by working harder and being more serious because this past practice we weren't really that serious and we got really distracted so next time we are not going to do that because we were even late with turning our project in. Next time we will also get way more B-roll than we will ever think we will need because we ran out fast.
Overall, I talked about our overall impression of our team was good, but not so good. Well, that's it for this blog post, thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! Today I will be talking about a movie I saw a couple of weeks ago called "Forrest Gump". Personally, I thought this movie was super awesome. It was about this guy who wasn't smart, failed in school, but he taught Elvis how to dance, learned to run, despite his leg brace, getting a football scholarship to college, witnessing the desegregation of his school, being named an All-American football player, meeting President John Kennedy, saving members of his platoon while in Vietnam, getting the Medal of Honor from President Lyndon B. Johnson, making a speech at an anti-war rally, becoming a ping pong champion, meeting President Richard Nixon, exposing the Watergate scandal, appearing on the Cavett Show, inspiring John Lennon's song, "Imagine", successfully starting the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, investing in "some fruit company," Apple Computers running across the entire country, and fathering a son. Now that is a big list of great accomplishments that so many people would wish of. I also thought that this movie had great camera quality for an old movie and had an awesome story. Overall, I think you should definitely watch this movie if you haven't. Well, thank you for reading and have a good one!
Hey everyone! In our modern world, there are many ways to obtain information. It used to just be through the newspaper, the TV, or the radio, but now there are many ways like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagam. Today I will be talking about how I get my information, what I look for, and how I access that information. I actually am old school and get it from the newspaper and occasionally from Instagram. I usually look for exciting things like crashes or like something with the presidential election. How I access my information is by just waking up in the morning, getting the newspaper, and reading it.
The first thing I will be talking about is how I get my information about our society. I get it from reading the newspaper because I really enjoy it. It is reliable because you get it everyday and you can read it without having to use the internet. It also has all of the information on any topic, from Kauai events, to sports, and even national event's. I also like that you can just recycle the paper after and not have to worry about wasting paper.
The next thing I am going to talk about is what I look for on the newspaper. I tend to like the really the exciting stuff like if a special even happened or a case of a murder or something. I also like the sports page because you get to know about all of the sports and what happens with sports. There's also the national news and I also really like that.
The last thing I am going to talk about is how I access my information. I think you have to pay 75 cents for the newspaper every time you get that which is 273.75 dollars a year and I think thats pretty cheap. There is also the little dispensers with news paper and I think that costs about 1 to 2 dollars. I get my newspaper everyday in the morning and then I read it.
Overall, there are so many ways to get information. My way to get it is through newspaper. I talked about how I get my information, what I look for when I get my information, and how I access that information. Well, that's all for this blog post, thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! Today I am going to talk to you about a new movie trailer I saw titled "Captain America: Civil War". I thought that the new trailer was completely awesome. It not only more story to the movie, but also great cinematography. I love all of the fighting scenes and all the camera angles and stuff. Now I am even more hyped to see the movie and you should watch the new trailer too if you haven't. Well, thank you for reading and have a good one!
Hey everyone! Today I am going to write about the Kaua'i Museum Art Contest, and the Olelo Youth Exchange, and if I have a picture for the art contest, and if I am going to submit my news story to Olelo. The first thing I want to talk about is what picture I have for the photo contest, secondly is what kind of pictures I can take, and lastly is if I am going to submit my news story to Olelo.
The first thing I will be talking about is what pictures I have for the Art Contest. I have a photo of the mountains of Utah, but I'm not sure if they will except it, so I got another picture of a bug. Some other pictures I have is some really nice skies in the even and in the morning. I also have pictures of fires and others things like that.
The next thing I am going to talk about is if I don't think that I have good photos, what kind of other photos I might take. I can take some of sunsets and sunrises because we live on such a beautiful planet. I also can take some of trees in Kokee or even down in the town. I also can take some close ups of bugs or plants which I think would be cool.
The last thing I am going to talk about is if I plan to submit my news story to Olelo. I really want to submit it because I think our second quarter project, about the extension to the Grove Farm Train, would be a really interesting. The only thing is that we have to cut it down to 2 minutes. Last quarter, when I finished editing the first draft, the video was almost 4 minutes and our time limit was 3, so we had a super hard time cutting it down because there was so much information. I just couldn't take it out because it wouldn't make sense without it. So cutting it down to 2 minutes I think would be even harder. I will definitely try though.
Overall, I think that I do have some good photos for the art contest, if I don't seem that my photos match, I do have some places and things I can pictures of, and lastly, I do plan on submitting my news story to Olelo, but cutting it down would be really hard. Well, that's it for this blog post, thank you for reading and have a great day!
