Hello everyone! Today I'm going to write about a movie I watched that's called "Conjuring". This movie is about a family that moves into this house and they experience lots of creepy things. After a while of living in the house, the mom gets scared and calls these people that deal with ghost kind of stuff. After a little while of the ghost people examining the house, creepy things start to happen again. This time the mom gets possessed and tries to kill the family but the ghost people save her by doing a exorcism. I think this movie was great because it had a great storyline, the shots were amazing, and it was overall really scary. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! today I'm going to write about what video I am going to show the family night. Will it be my 1st quarter project, my 2nd quarter project, my 3rd quarter project, my 4th quarter project, or one of my STN videos. I think I will show my 4th quarter project video because number 1, I think it will be very funny, number 2, I would really like to explain how we came up with the idea and what we did to make it, and number 3, what I learned in the process of making the video.
The first reason on why I want to show my 4th quarter project is because I think the video will be funny. I think this video will be funny because we really wanted it to be funny so we put all of the shots to be funny but good at the same time. I also think lots of people will laugh and I enjoy that.
The next reason why I want to show my 4th quarter project at family night is because I would like to explain how we made the video. I really want to explain how we made it because we came up with our idea super early and we got done with our filming early and all of the interesting thing we did while making the video.
The last reason why I want to show my 4th quarter project video at family night is because I want to tell everyone what I learned while making the video. I will tell them that getting stuff done early is really nice and that it is really fun when you get to choose what project you want to do. I also want to to say that it was really fun to make the video.
Well that is all the reasons why I think I should show my 4th quarter project at family night. The reason are number 1, I think it will be very funny, number 2, I would really like to explain how we came up with the idea and what we did to make it, and number 3, what I learned in the process of making the video. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! Today I'm going to write about another scary movie that I watched and it is called "Insidious 2". What happens in this movie is this kid get interviewed by this person but then it goes to the present and shows what happens to this man. The man later becomes a ghost and goes back to his child life and watches him get interviewed as a kid. Then the main character goes into this really weird scary place and some scary things happen to him but then he get out and killed the demon, monster thing and the movie end (Sorry for the not so good story telling, I watched this movie a long time ago). I thought this movie wasn't that great after all because it had just scary places that the character goes on and just comes out with nothing happening to him. Only the last part was scary but overall it wasn't that scary. Well thank you for reading and have a good one!

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to write about how 4th quarter project is doing and if I'm ahead, on track, or behind. So first off let me tell you what my project is about, it is a short film and it is Expectation Vs. Reality: A day of a teenager. I think me and my partner Ben M (click HERE to see his website) are ahead because number 1, we got our topic really early, number 2, we got our script done early also, and number 3, we got half of our filming done.
The first reason again why we are ahead on our 4th quarter project is because we came up with our idea early. First we got the idea of doing a project like wizards and agents, kind of like last years short film but we didn't really think that was going to be good. Then I was watching YouTube that night on the channel NigaHiga and I watched this video called Expectation Vs. Reality: Action Movies. So the next day I went to school and I told my partner about the idea. We came up with a bunch of ideas and we showed Mr. M but then he told me it had to be a story. After that we had to changed to "the day of a teenager".
The second reason why I think we are ahead on our 4th quarter project is because we got our script done really early. When we were confirmed on our idea we started our TIAS and our script. We worked really hard on our what we were going to film and how it went. Surprisingly we finish a really long scrip in about 3-4 days. Then we showed Mr. M and we had to make a few changes but then he approved it.
The last reason why I think we are ahead on our 4th quarter project is because we got half of our filming done last weekend. We started film a long time ago, before the trip but we only got a tiny bit done so we had to reschedule filming after the trip. When I went to film we took the whole day but we finished all of the shots that took place at home. Now we only has to film the shots at school.
Well that is all of the reasons why I think our project is ahead. The first reason is we got our idea early, we got our script done early, and we got half of our filming done. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
You can see all of my project scripts and TIAS on 4th quarter projects page.
Hey everyone! Today I'm going to tell you about a movie that I watched and its called "Annabelle". It's about these people that get a doll and then these robbers come in and steal the doll, but right before the robbers get out, the people that own the doll killed the robbers and the robbers' soul went into the doll. Then the people move to another house and then the doll follows them and haunts them. I thought that the movie wasn't really good because it wasn't really that scary and there were no scary jump scares. Overall I thought this movie wasn't as good as some other movies. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! Today I'm going to talk about the top 3 things that I learned on my first STN trip. The first thing I learned on this trip was about lots about other people, the second thing that I learned was a lot more about meeting our deadline, and the last thing is that I learned was a lot about Los Angeles and San Diego.
The first thing I learned was lots of things about other people. I hung out with a lot more different people instead of just the people I hang out with at school. I learned a lot about other people and now I'm sitting next to other people at school too. I really thought this trip brought me and other media student together more.
The next thing I learned on this trip is a lot about meeting the deadline. Since the STN is all about meeting the deadline, we had to really watch our time and if we were just 1 minute late to the editing room than that could cause us to be late to meeting the deadline. I just learned so much about meeting deadlines this trip and it isn't fun if you procrastinate.
The last thing I learned on the STN trip was a lot about Los Angeles and San Diego. In Los Angeles I learned about Universal, a movie making company, Hollywood were all these people signed the ground and put all of there hand and foot prints. Then we went to USC which was a super cool college with cool media stuff. Then In San Diego a lot about the past like the USS Midway, an aircraft carrier that fought in WWII. Then we learned about old town which was a town that is like the 1800's, then finally we went to Little Italy which was a town that brought back the 1900's. We also visited Petco Park which was a baseball park that is for the San Diego Padres.
Well that is basically all of the new stuff I learned about this years STN trip. I want to thank Mr. M, all of the chaperones, and everyone in media for making this trip a once and a lifetime experience and the best trip ever. Thank you for reading and have a good one!
My name is Carter, I am in 1st grade at CKMS and 5 years old. I do some pretty good stuff for a 1st grader don't you think?
