Hey everyone! Today, I watched this movie call "The Jungle Book". When I first saw the trailer, I didn't think it was going to be that good, but then when I watched it, it was very good. I thought that this movie had an awesome story about a kid who was trying to live in the jungle. I also liked how they put all of the animals in with CGI and how they did all the stunts and stuff. My most favorite character in the movie was probably Baloo, the bear in the movie and the voice actor was Bill Murray. Overall, I thought that this movie was awesome and you should definitely watch it if you haven't. Well, thank you for reading, and have a good one!
Hey everyone! In our life, we make mistakes every single day and sometimes our mistakes are the best teacher. Some of our mistakes are small, and some are big and some are small. Today, I am going to talk about some big mistakes I made throughout the my life. My first big mistake I made is when I procrastinated to do my 3rd quarter project on time last year. The next mistake I made is when I decided to go to the beach the day after my birthday instead of going to our first STN practice last year, and the final mistake is when I wanted to go fast on my SBAC test last year.
The first big mistake I made in my life so far is when I procrastinated to do my 3rd quarter project last year. At first, I was doing good and got my TIAS and script done on time, but then for filming, I waited until the last minute and filmed and edited 1 day before it was due. Now, I highly suggest you don't do that because it really sucked staying up late editing. I was lucky that I didn't find any shots that were bad because if I did, I would have had to re-film but I wouldn't be able to. Now I want to improve on that and not procrastinate again.
The next big mistake I made in my life so far was when I decided that I would go to the beach after my birthday instead of going to my first STN practice last year. During that time at the beach, I broke my collarbone, and it hurt so bad. I really regretted not going to the practice because that day changed my life and only if I went to that practice, I wouldn't have broken my collarbone.
The last big mistake I have mad in my life so far is when I wanted to go really fast on my SBAC test last year. I was taken out of my fun period with all of my friends and I had to go and finish my SBAC test, I went and just kind of went through the questions and didn't brother to think about it. I don't know if the SBAC that we do now goes to our college scores and all of that stuff, but I really regret it because if it does, then I won't have a good college reputation.
Overall, we make lot's of mistakes in our life, some of my big mistakes that I have made in my life so far is when I procrastinated to do my 3rd quarter project on time last year. The next mistake I made is when I decided to go to the beach the day after my birthday instead of going to our first STN practice last year, and the final mistake is when I wanted to go fast on my SBAC test last year. Well, that's it for this blog post, thank you for reading, and have a great day!
Hey everyone! A couple of weeks ago, I watched this movie called "The Walk". I thought that this movie was so awesome and cool because it was about this guy who had a dream of walking on a rope from the south tower to the north tower of The World Trade center. In order to do that, they had to break a bunch of rules, and laws and had to go through so much failure. It was truly inspirational and I would definitely watch it again. It also had awesome cinematography and it was amazing how they got the twin in the movie and made the towers look so real, even though they weren't there. That movie definitely showed how awesome The World Trade center was. Overall, I thought that this movie was awesome and you should definitely watch it if you haven't. Well, thank you for reading, and have a good one!
Hey everyone! The comfort zone is a place where you feel safe where you stand, for me that is just doing good in the things I do like football, media, and just school in general. What I should do is to get out of my comfort zone and do more. So, today I am going to talk about some times when I left my comfort zone. The first time I left my comfort sone is when I decided to join the media class, the second time I left my comfort zone is when I decided to act in our commercial for last years STN convention , and the last time I left my comfort zone is when join the Nat Package for the STN competition this year.
The first time I left my comfort zone is when I joined the media class. When we went to the meeting and everything that we had to do before the sixth grade, I knew that I would have to leave my comfort zone and do more like ask people to do things that I have never asked before, and acting in other students projects. So just the thought of being on front of the camera and acting took me out of my comfort zone so joining media is definitely one time I left my comfort zone.
Another time I left my comfort zone is when I had to act for the STN convention last year. Last year, Jonathan, Herenui, and I were in the commercial competition and we did our commercial on the Pedi Cab, which is like a little carriage attached to a bike, and this guy brings you to places on that. So, we did our commercial on that and I had to act as a pedestrian riding on the Pedi Cab. I know that your thinking "Oh, that's not that bad," but for it was because I am not good at acting and it would be shown for everyone to see, so I was kinda scared. I just did it and got over it, but I still see it sometimes and I am really embarrassed because I was a horrible actor.
The last time where I left my comfort zone is when I join the Nat Package competition for this years STN competition. I had to leave my comfort zone because I was not used to doing new and harder things. When Mr. M asked Aron and I to go in this new competition, I really didn't want to, but I did, I left my comfort zone and tried something new, and we won second place so I was pretty proud of that.
Overall, I have been in my comfort zone for the most of my life, but, I have left my comfort zone a couple of times. Those times are when I decided to join the media class, the second time I left my comfort zone is when I decided to act in our commercial for last years STN convention , and the last time I left my comfort zone is when join the Nat Package for the STN competition this year. I think that you should leave your comfort zone more often because when you do, something good usually comes out of it. Well, that's it for this blog post, thank you for reading, and have a great day!
Hey everyone! A couple of weeks ago, I watched this movie called "Concussion". I thought this movie was really inspiring because it is about this guy who finds this disease, but then some people don't agree with it but he never gives up. The disease that he finds is called CTE (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy) and that is caused by people playing football and getting their head hit too much. The effects of the disease it a bunch of bad stuff and then you eventually go crazy and kill yourself. He wanted to stop people from playing football, but the NFL disagreed but he still fought. I thought that this movie had an awesome story about a guy in real life. I also like the cinematography but I mostly like the story. Also, a really interesting fact that I learned was that animals that hit their head a lot like woodpecker, and rhinos, they have a wall that keeps their brain in one place, unlike ours, ours is just in water and it floats. Every time we hit it with more that 60 G's, your brain hits against your skull and damages it. It's pretty scary because of the fact that I play football. Well, that's it for this free blog post, thank you for reading and have a good one!
Hey everyone! Its already been 2 weeks since we got back from the STN trip, and I miss it so much. It was such a fun experience and I can't wait till next year. Today I will talk about my 3 most favorite memories of the trip. The first one is that Brent, Aron, and I won second place is the STN Nat Package competition. The next most memorable moment is when we went to the Six Flags, Over Georgia in Atlanta, and the last most memorable moment was going to the Empire State Building.
The first most memorable moment about the STN trip was when Brent, Aron, and I won second place in the STN Nat Package competition. I was so amazed that we won second place because I thought we wouldn't win because we didn't find a place to film for about 2 hours and then we rushed to film the story that we finally found. I was so happy and then all of our other classmates won awards and it was so awesome. That moment was probably on of my most favorite moments ever. The other thing about it to is that we learned a lot from doing this competition, and I am so happy that we learned enough that we could win second place.
The next most memorable moment of the STN trip was going to Six Flags, Over Georgia. I had so much fun at Six Flags because we got to ride the most awesome roller coasters. Instead of the Kaua'i roller coasters like Fireball and The Zipper, we got to ride immensely huge roller coasters that was the most amazing experience. We also got to ride it with all of our friends and that made it even better. I just wish we stayed longer or even went another day because I had an awesome time that I could never forget.
The last most memorable moment of the STN competition was going to the Empire State Building. Holy smokes that building was so high and awesome. It was once the most tallest building in the world, and we got to in it to the 86th floor. I took so many pictures that it almost filled up all the space in my phone. I just didn't want to miss any of the scenery of the beautiful city. Then when we were going to the gift shop, I saw that they had a 102nd floor and I wanted to go so bad but we couldn't because you needed a special pass. I just thought that it was such an amazing experience and I could never forget it.
Overall, I think that this last STN trip to Atlanta and New York has been such an amazing experience and I would never forget it. Three of my most favorite moments was when Brent, Aron, and I won second place is the STN Nat Package competition. The next most memorable moment is when we went to the Six Flags, Over Georgia in Atlanta, and the last most memorable moment was going to the Empire State Building. I just want to thank Mr. M and all of the chaperones for making this trip be an amazing experience that, I don't think anyone could forget. Well, that's it for this blog post, thank you for reading and have a good one!
Hey everyone! Today I saw this new trailer called "Suicide Squad", and after watching it I immediately wanted to watch it. It looks so cool and awesome because of the of the special effects. I also think that the story if different than most superhero movies because they are taking bad guys and making them good. Well, that's it for this blog topic, thank you for reading an have a great day!
Hey everyone! Man, this year has gone by so fast, it's already 4th quarter, and the trip is done. It's like we've waited so long for the STN trip, and it went by so fast and now it's over. Now we've started on our 4th quarter projects, and here are some new goals for the 4th quarter. The first one is, well, you guessed it, procrastination because I failed to reach my goal last quarter. My next goal is to get better grades than 3rd quarter, and finally, my last goal is to do a little bit more with the quarter projects.
My first new 4th quarter goal is to not procrastinate. I have set this as my goal for 3 quarter's now and I still haven't achieved it. I don't want to procrastinate, and I will try not to because it really sucks when I do. I procrastinated a lot last quarter because I didn't do some of my blogs on time, I didn't do finish my radios on time, and I didn't really get my 3rd quarter project script and TIAS done on time. This quarter, I really want to change that because it really sucked being late for a lot of things I did.
The next 4th quarter goal I have is to get better grades than I did for the 3rd quarter. For the 1st and second quarter, I got 3.875 GPA, which I thought was good because then for the grade for semester 1, I got a 4.000 GPA. I thought that was awesome, but then during 3rd quarter, I wasn't doing so good and I got a 3.500 GPA. I didn't like that I got that because I just dropped and I was not happy about it. So for this quarter, I want to improve that, by trying hard and not giving up, so I can get the same score I had or an even better score.
The last goal I have for the 4th quarter is to do a little more for our quarter project. For the first two quarter projects we did, I worked a lot because I am the returnee, but then for the 3rd quarter project, I kind of didn't do a lot. I just filmed with my partner Dalson, made the scripts and TIAS's, but then I didn't edit anything. I felt bad because I did that, so this quarter I will do a lot of work and try my best to make it as best as I can.
Overall, some of the goals I made last quarter I achieved, but I didn't achieve one, which was not to procrastinate. So I made a set of new goals, which is to not procrastinate, get better grades than 3rd quarter, and finally, my last goal is to do a little bit more with the quarter projects. Well, that's it for this blog post, thank you for reading, and have a great day!
