Hey everyone! Today I'm going to write about this video I saw called "Do you have a wondering mind?". I thought this video was really cool because showed how people can concentrate and come up with great inventions easier by just thinking something like "why do plants grow?" or "Why do we die". I suggest you watch if you have time because it really can teach you something. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! Today I'm going to write about the three most important lessons learned in media. Well for me I thing the first most important lesson learned is not procrastinating, the second most important lesson that I learned was to remember all of your equipment to shootouts, and the third most important thing that I learned was to always pay attention to the teacher.
The first most important thing I learned was to not procrastinate. This is probably the most common lesson but it is the most important because if you procrastinate then you will fall behind on stuff and it really sucks if you do. In the end you end up rushing to get the project done and it turns out bad. That's what happened to me with my 3rd quarter project.
The second most important lesson that I learned this year was to remember to bring all of your equipment to shootouts. I've learned my lesson when it comes to forgetting your equipment and it really isn't fun because then you have to try to film with a full SD card or a camera with low battery. I had that once with my second quarter project and it was really hard.
Last but not least, the third most important lesson that I learned was to always pay attention. Whenever their is something important that Mr. M is explaining I sometimes doze off and day dream so then I don't know what Mr. M is talking about. I really suggest not to do that because then when you actually have to know what to do, you don't and you do bad.
In conclusion, all of the important lessons I learned was first, to not procrastinate, second, to remember all of the things to shootouts, and lastly, to always pay attention to the teacher. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
Before you read this, this blog is a spoiler for people who haven't watched this movie yet.
Hey everyone! Today I'm going to write about a movie I watched this weekend. The movie was called "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and it was about Iron Man (Tony Stark), and Hulk ( I don't know his name) build a robot named Ultron to protect the world from evil. When the Iron Man and Hulk finish building it, it wanted to save his kind, the robots, instead of humans so the robot wanted to kill the world, from then on it was lots of action and fighting. Well I really enjoyed this movie because of course, it had all of my favorite super hero's and it was an awesome action movie. Well that's all for this blog post, thank you for reading and have a good one!
Hey everyone! Today I'm going to write about some tips for the new students in media next year. I've been here in media for almost the whole school year so I will tell you 3 tips for the newbies next year and they are to one, bring extra equipment to shoot, two, don't waste your time, and always try your best.
The first tip I would give to the next year students are to be always bring extra equipment to shooting. I've always had problems with forgetting something and ruining the whole shootout. Take my second quarter project for instance, Kaycee and I (Ben wasn't there at the time) were filming an interview and after the interview I checked the sound and it was good, but I didn't check the whole video and the about 30 seconds in the video, the audio cut out. After that I was really angry and so we had to reshoot the interview and we almost didn't make the project on time.
The next tip I want to share is to not waste your time. This is kind of like procrastination but your should try your hardest not to waste time. For media, time is very important and you should do everything when you get it instead of waiting till the end to do it. That is what I did with my 3rd quarter project. I did my TIAS and my script but I waited a lot time to film. It was the last day before it was due and I filmed and edited. That was an experience that you wouldn't want to go through.
The last tip I want to give to the newbies joining media is to always try your best. I have tried my best for most of the year but some things I didn't try my best and I ending up not getting a good grade. I suggest you try your best all of the year so you can get good grades and feel confident of yourself.
Well those are all of my tips that I have for the students that join media next year. Those tips are to one, bring extra equipment to shoot, two, don't waste your time, and always try your best. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
Hey everyone! Today I'm going to write about a movie I watch a while ago and it's called "Saw". I've heard of this movie by all of my friends and then one day my brother said that I should watch the movie "Saw". So I looked on Netflix and saw the movie and I watched it. It is about these two people wake up in a old bathroom with chains wrapped around their ankles. Then they find a tape in their pocket and so they played it on a tape recorder they found. The tape said that they had to kill each other with in the next 6 hours. They didn't know how though because they were a couple meters away from each other and hooked on chains. Soon the guy realized that there was a guy named jigsaw who was doing this to them. After the main character (the one who figured out who was doing this to them) was finished telling the other guy who jigsaw was and what he had done to people, the other guy started freaking out and and breaks the toilet and finds a saw in it. So he passes the other saw that he found to the main character and and they try to cut off the chains but then the guy figures out that the saws where meant to cut off their feet not the chains. After that the guy gets really scared and throws the saw at a window and the window cracks and they see a red light. The guy finds a rock and throws it at the window and they see a camera. Then they turn off the lights and see where there is an X because in the tape it said that X marks the spot. So they main character breaks the wall where the X was and finds a box with 2 cigarettes and a note that says there in poison in the blood on the ground. So then they guys puts the cigarettes in blood and turns off the light. The main character tells the other character to fake his death. So he gives him the cigarette that he didn't put the blood and the guy smokes it. After a little bit the guy pretends to die but then gets electrocuted and wakes up. After that the main character finds a phone in the box and gets a call that says that jigsaw has his family. After he hangs up he loses it has cuts off his foot and kills the other guy. Then when the main character kills the other character the fake jigsaw comes in and tries to kill the main character but the other character didn't die yet so he kills the fake jigsaw. The main character leaves to go find help and after he left the guy who was dead in the bathroom when the two characters woke up, woke up and leaves the other character for dead in the bathroom. "GAME OVER" jigsaw says. Well overall I thought that movie was very gory but it had a good story line and at first I thought it was going to be very cheesy. Well, thank you for reading and have a great day! (Sorry for the bad story telling)

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to talk about the bell schedule. What would you change about it? Would you reduce the number of electives we offer? Would you move back our lunch to how it was last year? Would you choose to end school at 2 pm instead of 2:45 pm? I think I would make school day end at 2 pm instead of 2:45 pm, reduce the number of electives they offer, I would move back the lunch to how it was.
The first thing I want to change about the bell schedule is the school ending time. I want to change that because I have after school activities and when school ended late I only had I little bit of time to do my homework and then after my activity which was late at night. Another reason why I want to shorten the school day is because after around 2:00 pm I start to get really tired and just want to go home. I also start to stare of into space and not concentrate and I don't like that because then I get bad grades.
Another thing I want to change about next years bell schedule is to reduce the number of electives the school offers. I want to do that because if they make the school day shorter and we have to same number of electives as we do right know then our classes would be really short everyday not just wednesday(or monday). If we reduce the number of electives though, then the classes will be longer and we would have lots of time to finish our work.
The last thing that I want to change about next years bell schedule is to move back the lunch to how it was. I want to change that because I have a lot of my friends that are downstairs and my only chance to hang out with them is at morning recess. I really want to be able to go to lunch with my friends that are downstairs and hang out with them more.
Overall, the three thing that I want to change about next years bell schedule is that I would make school day end at 2 pm instead of 2:45 pm, reduce the number of electives they offer, I would move back the lunch to how it was. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
