The first thing I'm going to tell you is when it happen. It was about 7 years ago and it was the first day we arrived in Utah. We had arrived to Salt Lake City and went shopping for all the stuff that we needed to stay there for a couple of weeks at our cabin. Then we drove up the mountain to the cabin which is about 8,000 ft. above sea level. My parents were getting settled in and unpacking and we were playing. Then my heart started beating fast. I told my mom I was not feeling very well and she said she thought I was probably just tired and set us to bed. I was not sleeping very well so, I woke up around 2:00 in the morning and was having trouble breathing and as I waited longer the more I couldn't breathe. I felt my heart and it was beating REALLY fast so I went to my mom she got nervous when she noticed I couldn't breathe and my heart was pounding. I sometimes get asthma attacks so she gave me asthma medication and it was not working, so we rushed down the mountain to the hospital. I felt better but we had to stay at sea level in the city for a couple of days and I didn't like that because I love to play in the snow. The good thing is that it hasn't happen since.
The reason I feel it was the scariest thing in my life is because it didn't feel right and it felt like when you are under water and you can't catch your breath you can only get little pockets of air that only last a second and you can do anything about it. Another reason is because it feels like your heart is going to pop out of your chest an it's beating so fast and you can't slow it down.
The last reason why is that was the most scariest thing that ever happened to me is because it felt like you were going to die. Of course I didn't want to die. I didn't like that feeling of not being able to breathe and you can't do anything about it. My mom said that she really thought I was going to die in her arms on the way down the mountain. She is happy I didn't and me too.
Well, that's all I have to say about the scariest thing that happened to me. I never ever want to go through that again. Thank you for reading my scariest thing and I will see you next time.
